We’ll have open mic nights for readings, author fairs to sell our books, launch parties, craft workshops, sessions on book marketing, and MORE
Our Position on AI
Using AI is fun. We get that. But when generative AI is used to create a cover or even write your content, that’s not okay. It’s stealing. We believe in human creativity, and we value the work that artists, editors, and writers perform.

The mission of 285 Is Lit is to support authors in the Foothills of the Rockies, no matter where they are in their author journey. If you’re still writing your debut novel, or if you’ve published multiple works, we’re here for you! Let’s get your stories out in the world.
